How do I review my sitter after a stay?

Reviews are helpful in giving other pet owners a sense of the pet care provider's skills at a glance. In addition to reviews, tips are a great way to recognize when a sitter has provided excellent care to your pet.
Here’s some important info about the review process:

  • You have 21 days after a booking ends to leave a review, or 7 days for a recurring service.
  • Your sitter or dog walker can also leave feedback about your pet(s) after each booking, and they have the same window of time to leave feedback.
  • You won’t be able to see their feedback (nor will they see your review) until you’ve both submitted or until the window has closed.

Here’s how to leave a review after a stay:

 

Rover App:

  1. Tap Inbox at the bottom of your screen.

  2. Tap the conversation icon at the top left of your screen.
  3. Tap Past.

  4. Open the booking you’d like to review.

    For iOS tap on the stars.

  5. Choose a star rating and then enter your review. Tap Submit Review.

 

Web:

1. Navigate to your Inbox by selecting the conversation icon in the upper right corner of your screen.

2. Select Past bookings.

3. From the booking details, click Leave a review.
4. Select a star rating and write a few words in your review. You might also see an option to fill out private feedback for Rover, which won't be visible to your sitter.

5. Select Submit Review. You’re ready to go!

 

How to leave a review for a recurring service:

You can leave a review for your sitter for a recurring service every Monday after the first week of service. Here's how:

  1. Open the current booking from the Current section of your inbox.
  2. Select Leave a review.
